A Place To Stay

“What are you doing here?” As a storm rages outside, 13-year old Angelica confronts a filthy boy about her age hiding in her barn. He begs her not to give him away and is taken in by the family.
The mystery surrounding Phil grows as a strange connection develops between the youngster and five-year old Merlin, Angelica's show colt. Helping around the barn, it becomes clear Phil has a real feel for handling horses but he cannot remember where he comes from or how he learned about them.
When he helps Angelica groom the colt during a show, he is injured when a tornado hits the showgrounds. The attending emergency crew discovers unrelated bruises on his back and report it to Children Services unbeknownst to the family.
Completely unaware of the danger threatening to rip Phil from them, the kids explore the surrounding area on horseback and discover a mysterious cave, the contents of which draw them into an adventure that will change their lives forever.
