| Customer Reviews: Zap Zappy June 29, 2010 Chuck (Pa) The Pros-
It kills mice and you dont have to touch them.
The Cons-
It zaps the mouse near the door, blocking any other mice from getting inside where the other zap area is. It claims to kill multiple mice, but that cant happen if they cant get in.
The dead mouse indicator light stopped working after the 1st kill, so I must check the trap daily or get stuck with a stinky dead mouse in there.
I smeared a pea sized amount of peanut butter on the opening and 1st wall inside, that seemed to increase the frequecy of zap zappies. None of the mice reached the inside main bait area.
Great concept, but sadly my mice don't fall for it... January 19, 2010 A. rollins (Burlington, Vermont) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I've caught one or two mice in the last 6 months with this thing. I think the scent of bbq'd mouse, or the droppings/urine on it mark it as a death trap to other mice. I've set this down in my mouse infested garage and caught nothing. There's probably 30 mice in my garage. (detached) I've tried my best to wash it off, but it's not like you can submerge it in water. Great idea, but sadly it just doesn't work. Not on my mice anyhow. (and no, they aren't too large to fit in the trap) Back to my faithful basic snap traps.
Rip Off September 9, 2009 Todd W. Castrinoes 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I bought (2) of the units based on the reviews. They have been set for about a month and NOTHING!! Plenty of droppings on top and around the units but they will not go inside. Went on blogs to see if I was doing something wrong; maybe placing the bait or putting in the wrong spot but looks like I am doing everything by the book. I would not recommend these units.

This is a better mousetrap.
Tired of those little ones getting the cheese and getting away ?
This one will put a stop to that.
